They seemed alright as bbq gloves, but the thread used to stitch them together seems to have srank up and melted. Distorting the look, and fitting of the gloves. Also making me concerned about future protection.

These Leather gloves are a must have for setting the firebox for the Judge with the way you have to raise or lower the charcoal – wood adjustable flat firebox when you have it filled and hot. They supply a cast iron tool to use but the handles get so hot you can just use these gloves and bypass the tool and make your adjustments in a few seconds. I rate these gloves 5 stars- . I do some welding and consider these as good as my 70 dollar welding gloves.

I purchased these gloves to handle moving hot grill grates, racks and large food items around while the grill is in operation. They are perfect for grabbing a Boston Butt….after a couple of hours smoking it’s necessary to remove the butt from the grill and then wrap in aluminum foil or butchers paper. You’ll want these gloves to do that..I wash them off afterwards and store in the grill with other accessories I’ve ordered with the smoker/grill.

They are comfortable to wear once you stretch the fingers out and provide excellent protection from the heat. The only thing I would like changed, is maybe make them in different sizes because, if you are big handed like me, the gloves don’t fit very well, until you stretch them my making fists with them on.

When I opened the package I was blown away. The gloves are a work of art , really well made and great looking. When I showed them to my family they really loved them ( couldn’t understand why I needed them ) the same day I used them to lift my coal chimney and couldn’t feel any heat. Same when I touch anything hot. Get a pair they are great and look very cool.
