The Chill-Its 6486 FR Multi-Band offers head and face protection from arc flash hazards, as well as sun, dust and flying debris. The NFPA 70E-approved FR Nomex knit fabric has an EBT rating of 4.2 cal/cm2 and meets the requirements of ASTM F1506 for protection against arc flash. Stretchable and seam-free, this versatile FR neck gaiter can be comfortably worn in a multitude of ways. Wear as a face covering or face mask, headband, neck gaiter, hat, do rag and more. The low-profile design can also be worn under a hard hat without the bulk. Featuring high tech moisture-wicking technology for fast drying and an anti-odor treatment for all-day freshness. Machine wash as needed and hang to dry. This FR multi-band is ideal PPE for petrochemical, electrical, oil, gas and refinery work.

The FR multi-Band is not one of my favorites. I was using it in the last couple of hot days and it did not keep me cool. I tried soaking it in cold water and wearing it but it dried to fast and was still to hot. It did keep my neck from burning, also I like having an extra layer of FR. I am looking forward to the winter to see if it helps me in the cold.

Great, simple product! Very versatile while in the field. Also works great for camping, hiking or working around the house. I really like that it can be worn different ways depending on what you’re doing and/or what you need from it. Can be used to absorb sweat, protect you from sun, keep your hair out of the way, and more. This is a very handy piece and I’ll definitely be keeping it with my field gear.

Love it. Love it. Love it. Use it all the time work, under hard hat, around neck, kayaking, hiking , walking around the city, etc. the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is color options.

It was surprising how well it worked in -10 to 10 degrees my ears and nose were left feeling fine. 4 hours later job was done and I didn’t have a runny nose. To the other temp side. Using a grinder with a cutting wheel using this instead of my welding cap. Lot less sweat and no more burns on the scalp. Only down side. After repeated wares. It didn’t fit as well. Little slop.
