The GloWear 8283BK Lightweight Performance Hi-Vis T-Shirt is a Type R Class 2 shirt designed for enhanced visibility and breathable comfort. With an extra soft, jersey-like feel, this 100% polyester fabric is the lightest weight ANSI 107-approved fabric on the market. Great for working in the heat, this reflective safety shirt features a moisture-wicking treatment and underarm vents to keep wearers cool and dry. It is rated to 30+ UPF for protection against the sun’s harmful UV rays. The black panel across the bottom hides dirt, grit and dust to keep the shirt looking cleaner longer. Additionally, black vented underarm panels hide sweat and improve breathability. This hi vis work shirt uses segmented 2 reflective tape for enhanced visibility at night or in low-light conditions. Unlike solid reflective tape, the flexibility of segmented tape allows reflective clothing to feel more comfortable, lightweight and breathable.

If this shirt had a volume knob, it would go to eleven. You WILL be seen. The lightweight fabric was actually lighter than I expected, and hangs easy on your body. Very comfortable. The segmented reflective stripes are a favorite feature, and if you’ve ever worn hi-vis shirts with a solid reflective stripe that feels like old masking tape, you will really like the softness and flexibility of the segmented stripes. The shirt tail hangs a bit long for my frame and lands just past my butt, so I prefer to wear this one tucked in. The underarm pit vents are a welcome feature. Any extra air that can blow past the stinky bits is always appreciated. I could do without the front pocket, but that is mostly just a matter of preference.

I received two of these shirts as the winner of a social media giveaway from Ergodyne. One in Lime and one orange. I am very impressed by the breathability of the material. The shirts are lightweight yet durable and very comfortable for all day wear. The bright colors paired with reflective accents ensure the wearer can be seen in very low light settings.
Overall, I would recommend these to anyone.

This shirt does everything advertised! The material is lightweight and very breathable. The fit is just right and the reflective strip will make you stand out in the dark. I felt very comfortable working on a hot day. Being safe is being seen. I’d recommend this product to anyone, may it be on the job or just on the streets!

This shirt is definitely hi-vis. Very breathable but a little stiff. Not exactly easy to take off. Comfortable anyway. I wouldn’t have it on under a harness or anything like that. Very nice shirt, though.

I’ve had the chance to wear this a few times in a few settings. It’s been great outdoors, even in the recent heat. I love the vents in the armpit area. I also really appreciate that the reflective stripes have some give rather than being a solid stitched on piece. The black allows dirt and grime to remain hidden unlike a full yellow shirt. My only caution is they run big, I typically wear an XL shirt and I was swimming in this one! An awesome shirt all around. Two thumbs up

I was able to wear this shirt for over 10 hours a day, and it kept me cool and looking sharp. The shirt pocket is handy for keeping my note pad in, and a pen. The reflective strips are nice, and the shirt breaths well due to underarm vents and the material. I do wish it had a pen pocket or two in the left sleeve, but its fine without it. The shirt is nice and thin, not bulky, so tucking it in is nice and easy. It keeps looking new after washing it, and the reflective strips are fine after washing also. This is my go-to shirt when I am going to be on the side of the road, or in and out of traffic all day. Love it!

Great shirt for work, comfortable lightweight and breaths in the right spots.
It fits great. I got a 4xl its long enough in not worried about it riding up.
All in all it was 32C or 89F today and this short kept me from soaking through.

Let me start with saying this thing BRIGHT! It’s one of the comfiest work shirts I now own. To get a good feel for this shirt I wore a normal cotton t until about noon and as soon as I switched to this one it almost felt as if I had an air conditioner blowing on me. They did an amazing job with the construction of this, it’s plenty long enough and I’m 6’2” so finding a good fitting shirt is a chore. Also I love the bands on the ends of the sleeves, it makes it so that over time it maintains it fit and comfort. Also the pocket is a bonus for small items. So with all that being said I’m planning on adding a few more to my closet because it makes the 100+ degree days not feel so brutal.
