M-Pact® leather work gloves stand tall against rough cut wood, concrete and cold hard steel on the jobsite. The M-Pact® is constructed with DuraHide™ leather to provide extreme abrasion resistance and structural integrity when you’re in full swing. Impact-absorbing Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) protects the back of the hand from your knuckles to your fingertips. For comfort, D3O® palm padding reacts on impact to absorb and dissipate energy through the hand and reduce fatigue as the day goes on.

I needed a pair of gloves for weeding, primarily thistle. I don’t like loose fitting gloves and wanted the protection leather offers. These gloves do both!

I have had these gloves less than one month and the seam on the right glove along the base of the thumb connecting the palm to the back has come apart by about an inch. I used them extensively to move potted plants, set up a couple greenhouses, move 16″ concrete blocks and 2x4s. I will be returning them.

Costly but worth it. My son-in-law says they are the best and only uses them.

I would not recommend this set of gloves, the leather quality is poor, the stitches on the fingers is tightly fastened, but bulky and still tears away, and the dorsal side protection hardly assists with impact protection. The “Velcro” strip was poorly glued.
I am a part time ramp agent on the ground for a major airline. My usage was less than 20 hours per week for four months before I had to tape (as seen in photos).
Warranty would not cover – This company does not stand by their product.

Love these gloves, have 3 pairs. One in my truck, in my garage and in my toolbox. They fit great and work well with most all tools you handle.

Very durable. Sizes of the glove are very accurate.

These gloves are the best. My last pair died after 8 yrs, and that’s honestly my fault. I used them to spread out wet mulch and was too tired to swap them out. So don’t use leather gloves for wet applications and these should last you a long long time.

These are a good glove for the price. They were on sale. I’ve had a few other pairs from this brand. The fit is just right. They are fairly durable. I use them on my farm for the heavy work. I use a pair at my full time job also. I gave these a 4 star rating because the leather wears out after some months of daily use.

I really like the Mechanix Wear gloves but this particular pair was ripped at the wrist on the left glove. I did not see it when I bought them but when I went to use them I had to decide whether to use them or keep them clean to return. I had to work so I used them. What I like about the gloves is they come in different sizes and are comfortable, soft and protect well.

Bought two pairs of these in the past two months both lasted right at a month each. The first one was cloth and the finger tips split open. I bought the leather ones next thinking they would last longer but the seaming where the cloth meets the leather at the thumb has completely split open.
Really want to like these gloves because they’re super comfortable and dexterity is great. But at the price, I can’t afford to replace every month.
Too pricy for what you get out of them!!!

As a person who routinely damages my hands and fingers, these gloves are a miracle. Impacts from dropped tools, abrasions from various materials, cuts from sharp edges, these gloves offer protection from everything.

Using these gloves to pick up piles of sharp tile have saved my hands from being shredded. They are thick enough to keep my hands safe but I can also feel the thinset left on the concrete that I missed.

I bought these on May 16th to replace my 2 year old Milwaukee Performance Glove. That one lasted me 2 years before the finger tips got rubbed off for three fingers and created a hole in each tip. And i used it to build three kitchen islands, demo and rebuild 60 feet of fence on top of regular monthly yard cleaning and random chores around the house.
I bought these to replace the Milwaukee because this DuraHide model looked tougher, thicker and seemed like it would last me twice as long. The price was hugh than Milwaukee too, gotta be better right?
I was wrong. It fell apart within three weeks. The leather surface is fine but the stitchings fell apart at two finger tips already. I used them to dig a trench (30 feet long, 20 inches deep) and hauled the dirt away. One finger tip stitching fell apart by then. No problem, i still have 9…I continued to use it to clean the rest of my yard and did some wood work (sanding, cutting, staining) and other finger tips stitching fell apart. All this within 3-4 weeks of using 3 days a week. I am switching back to Milwaukee. I heard Mechanix was a good brand but not too sure after this experience. I was hooing they last me at least 2 years before this starts happening.

I like the protection the offer for heavy duty work be it chopping wood or working on the car.

I’ve bought mechanix gloves for several years. Each new model that comes out gets worse and worse. I put my gloves through a lot, admittedly, but for 30 bucks these are just atrocious. I get one year, that’s right 1 year MAX out of the mechanix impact “armored” gloves. The synthetic leather is just bad– it wears thin and gets holes very easily. Surprisingly, the real-leather, dead-simple mechanix gloves I have from 4 years back are still going strong. Only one seam on the finger of the right glove has failed. But on my impact-resistant mechanix that are one year old, there’s more holes than material. I don’t recommend these for regular, heavy use. They are comfortable, very dexterous, and look awesome while they last, but I just can’t justify 30 bucks a year for a pair of gloves that fail. If you shoot or need a pair of light-duty gloves, I’d recommend these. Otherwise steer clear.

I always cut the tags off. Are usually cut the Velcro tabs off. The extra larges are a little too big for my hand and the larges are a little too small so it’s probably of my hand problem more than it is a glove problem.
